Northumbria University hosted an interesting one day workshop on Service Design methods and practices last Wednesday. Cees Van Halen presented his Methodology for Product Service System Innovation, a complete strategy for competetive integrated service-product development.
The day was another reminder of the power of design methodology and its implications for management and business, Bill Hollins presented some research on the failure of product launches due to a lack of specification and research.
