I spent Monday with the Radiotherapy team at Mount Vernon hospital where thinkpublic will be producing a new information film for patients about to go through this process.
It was really fascinating to see how this treatment works; though I’ve talked a lot with patients who have been through radiotherapy I was still quite surprised by many aspects of the proceedure.
Hopefully the new film will be reassuring for patients, it will show each aspect of the processs happening as patients experience it, making sure new patients have some visual preparation for this type of treatment.
