Last week I was asked to share my experience of starting thinkpublic, at this years Frontrunner programme run by Commonpurpose.
I was also asked to talk about the role business plays around developing and improving society and how thinkpublic achieves this. It was interesting to hear the types of questions I was asked by the young leaders, around business, social value and their role. I was left feeling positive that I had just met a group of future focused young people, who where heading out into the world of work to create a positive impact.
There needs to be more programmes like Frontrunner that offer young people an opportunity to meet people from a range of sectors, helping to fast track their understanding of the world of work and what role they can play. At thinkpublic we often discuss what we can do as a company to support this and would love to make connections with others who feel the same way.
