We had an electifying day with the team of 31 volts last week.
31 Volts are a Utrecht-based service design agency who work predominantly with public sector and they invited us over to see what we could learn from each other. We shared similar challenges: explaining what we do, the problem of scalability and working with hard to reach groups. They also used used a wide range of visual tools and workshop techniques that reminded us a lot of our own work.
It was a useful and enjoyable day (and evening!). I particularly enjoyed their studio which was in an old school building: www.31volts.nl

It was great to have you over! We enjoyed every minute of the visit. Far to much stuff to discuss in one day so we definitely need to plan a new date.
Was great to hear what drives you to do the work you do. Passion and energy are so important to achieve results!
You can find a photo report from “our” side at this flickr page.
Would be nice if we can do an real international cooperation on a project some time. (I’m planmaking for 2008
