The Intersections Conference pod casts and transcripts are now up on the Design Council and Northumbria University websites.
For those of you who didn’t make it to the Intersections
conference in Newcastle last month, then they are worth listening to.
The conference discussed Design know-how for a new era and what happens when design crosses at an intersection with another discipline, very much like how our work at thinkpublic is at an intersection between design and the public sector. And look at the result of that intersection!

Obviously this is a very design related conference, how did it feel compared to the Dott festival, which was on at the same time, but more aimed at the general public?
Were the same issues discussed and how did the ‘design industry’ feel about Dott?
I see that the “Wouldn’t it be great if” manual is available on Amazon now!

To be honest nobody really spoke about Dott07 which was strange.
I think Dott07 got over 20,000 visitors over the 2 weeks it was open.
