Throughout this week, forty final year Masters students at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design have participated in a new “Immersion” course, aiming to help improve their confidence, skills and approaches to employability. Having been given the opportunity to visit the College and share my working experiences, I ran an informal ‘CV Clinic’ alongside Allister, Jane and Matthais yesterday where we offered advice to over thirty design students.
The experience was insightful and reminded me of the challenges I faced on graduating University. It’s good to see Universities taking the responsibility to guide and prepare students for employment.
