As part of our support for social enterprises we’ve been asked by Wates construction to help find social enterprise suppliers for them. As it has a turnover of more than a £1 Billion this could be a huge boost for the sector. If you know of, or are from a social enterprises that could offer skills, goods or services please e-mail me here and I’ll pass it on to them.

I’m sure we can help without treading on Think Public’s toes. To give you an idea we could produce the staff newsletter, write an e-newsletter for stakeholders, produce health and safety information for staff or provide in-house web writing training. We’re quite new but very skilled and keen to gain new business.

Possibly 5 years ago, when we operated from South London. Coincidentally I’m a former employee of Wates Conputer Services in Norbury.
I’m glad to see this question asked anyway. Wates has the reputation of a good employer and in doing this is leading the way. Many talk about engaging with social enterprise but there’s little evidence of it happening.
I’m still in the software business, but now what surplus we generate supports local community and an humanitarian project in Ukraine.
