measuring impact

tape
I’m currently looking at ways we can improve the way we measure our projects and ideas so we can prove it is creating an impact.
So I have been doing a bit of research and I few links that I thought I would share with you:

NEF have an online quality and impact toolkit for social enterprises guide which is interesting to look at supporting measurement. Charity Comms also have an event coming up at the end of the month titled ‘Fit for future conference: Measuring Impact, Communicating Results’ which focuses on how charities can be supported to demonstrate their impact.

There is also an interesting array of presentations on slideshare that look into measuring impact.

I’ve learnt it is about being really clear on what it is that you are trying to achieve, and then think about what the clear demonstrators are that can enable you to measure that this has happened. It has also been interesting to look at NEF’s happiness measurements and at how we should be questioning exactly what it is that we want to measure. If you have other examples you think we should know about please leave a comment!
