The Nan Project is currently on the go. Right now we are in Weston Super Mare where Nan and I are visiting before we take the last ride home. For the last 5 days we have been staying near Wellington where we have done many day trips to Minehead, Taunton, Sidmouth and Honiton.
During our first week we stayed in a lovely lodge, exploring the New Forest and visiting (amongst others) Lime Regis, Yeovil, Llyndhurst, Beauleau, Ringwood and Hythe.
It has been a great 2 weeks of road tripping, conversations, interviewing, filming, vegetable eating and smoothie drinking. I have learnt a lot about my Nan and had a good laugh enjoying her company! It has been very enjoyable and insightful!
When I return, I will update you fully on our travels and our findings.

It worked really well! Nan and I tested the cards during the trip along with a cup of tea and a crumpet!
It was really refreshing to have a tool to prompt certain discussions that I would otherwise have felt a bit strange about asking my nan, purely because they are not conversations that we have grown up asking.
Nan was very excited about the cards, and has come up with some ideas like taking them into youth and scout groups to further encourage these conversations.
