As I’m writing this blog, I aware it’s now old news in twitter terms, where you can see the latest news as it happens.
Yesterday I attended an event hosted by NESTA as part of their Silicon Valley comes to the UK programme. The event was about: Social Media: A Force For Good? With Stephen Fry - celebrity ‘Tweeter’, Biz Stone - founder and Chief Executive of Twitter and Reid Hoffman - founder and Chief Executive of LinkedIn. They discussed the phenomenon of social media and its future impact. Ideas around Web 3.0 were also discussed and to my relief, even the guys from Silicon Valley don’t really know what 3.0 is yet.
I really liked Stephen Fry’s comment about how we should look to nature to solve problems, as natures had many years to learn how to solve problems. He also alluded that anyone who comments on blog post must have too much time and be slightly strange. So dare you comment on my post? Watch a video of the debate here
