Our Cornwall Works 50+ project aims to design new ways to support people aged over 50, living in Cornwall, who want to move towards work, return to work, stay in work, or increase their skills.

We have been working closely with communities in Cornwall to understand some of the issues around worklessness for people over the age of 50. Our most recent event was ‘Redruth’s Tree of Talent’ where we erected a christmas tree in Redruth to understand and capture the talents and skills of people living in Redruth. Each person’s talent hung as a tree decoration and to celebrate these talents we hosted carols around the ‘Tree of talent’.

It was a lovely event to finish the year on and meet local residents, as a prize, the best singer went home with the tree!
