Thank you to everyone who entered, we have been really impressed by the projects suggested and are pleased to announce that the winner is Jackie Mcklin, Patient Experience Manager from Kingston Hospital Trust.
Jackie’s proposal for a Social Lab was:
“The issue I am concerned about is maintaining good mental health or supporting mental ill-health in the general hospital setting. The opportunity to have a social lab on this issue would I think identify the issues we need to support additional funding from the PCT for a Liaison Psychiatry team. The effects of a good Liaison Team would be reduced stay, improved recovery times, better patient experience, or it may be the outcome of the social lab is totally different to our current thinking.”
