teacherplan
Over the past two years thinkpublic have been working with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement to develop a lesson plan for 11-14 years olds. The lesson plan aims to help young people better understand the range of emergency and urgent care options available to them and their families, equipping them with the knowledge to access the right services, and understand their options.

The lesson plan and the practical tools within the plan were co-developed by children, young people and health professionals across the county. A process which we hope has helped health professional build confidence and competence when it comes to engaging young people in the design and improvement of health services.

thinkpublic is extremely proud to have been a part of this project which has not only resulted in these lessons plans being given to all secondary schools across the UK, but has also served as a catalyst for ongoing engagement between schools and local healthcare services creating exciting opportunities for future collaboration.
