thinkpublic is a leading producer of film and video in the public sector

thinkpublic use film and video to explore challenging social issues and exciting ideas in the public sector. We spread best practice and provide powerful qualitative research for projects and services across the country.

We work to broadcast standards, delivering high-quality independent productions and research projects. We produce films for a wide range of organisations in the public and third sectors and feature documentaries that explore major social issues. Our films are watched by citizens and decision-makers worldwide.

We believe in grassroots film-making, working directly with the people who know their story best to produce film and video that has the ability to change organisational culture and shift mindsets.

how we do it

Film can provide an in-depth and personal understanding of complex issues. We use film to communicate the real-life experiences of citizens, whether to convey stories about their daily lives or show what it is like for them to use and experience services.

Our films have been used in training, sharing best practice, spreading knowledge of new services or organisations and inspiring change. Our films have been widely shared, being screened everywhere from hospital wards to national television channels.
