understanding and engaging the public
To improve how your organisation works, you need to know what it really looks and feels like. thinkpublic provides detailed qualitative research which gives organisations a 360-degree view of their services. We work with ‘hard to reach’ people and communities to gain a rich understanding of their lives. This deep insight inspires service improvement and innovation.
how we do it
We use tools from design and ethnography to gather research that leads the way for service efficiency and increased effectiveness. We use ethnographic techniques including participant observation and open questioning, alongside photography, film and journey mapping. Our research is delivered in accessible ways to share findings with stakeholders and wider audiences. It’s a way to ‘bring the user into the boardroom’.
thinkpublic worked with Shropshire Council, engaging with the public to explore why many people in Oswestry aren’t using the fitness facilities available.
